With more than 20 years’ experience in premium freight services, Sébastien brings a wealth of experience to his role. Prior to C4 Logistics, Sébastien was UK Manager of Gefco Special (a former subsidiary of the Peugeot Group) and has delivered outstanding customer service to a variety of industries including the automotive, aerospace and pharmaceutical sectors.
Sébastien has an MA in Business and Logistics from ESIDEC Ecole Supérieure Internationale de Commerce, Metz University in France.
At C4 Logistics we celebrated Christmas by making our customers happy! Even on the biggest holiday of the year our customers faced transport troubles. Luckily our amazing operations staff were able to provide the best Christmas present ever – a door to door service with an on-board carry and no line stoppage. French media are predicting disruption from industrial strikes to last for at least three weeks! What does this mean for our customers…….?
In a recent statement, C4 Logistics Managing Director, Sebastien Barth said: “The industrial action in France is causing a lot of disruption to scheduled transports, especially those by road. At C4 Logistics we are supporting our customers by finding alternative transport methods, ensuring their critical shipments are completed on time and for a competitive price.”
Elaborating further, Sebastien went on to say: “Air transports are one of our specialties. We have an extremely competent team of air experts at C4 Air who can always find an alternative to road transports for a competitive price. For example, they recently organized an onboard carry for a customer whose scheduled transport was cancelled at the last minute because of the industrial action. The customer received a door-to-door service, with full tracking, faster than road transport and at a cost only slightly higher than the price of their scheduled shipment. I would encourage anyone who has a transport affected by the strikes to get in touch and we will find you a solution.”

With the announcement of widespread worker strikes in France, customers have found themselves unable to rely on their scheduled transports. Facing flight cancellations, blockades on the roads and congestion at the ports, many customers have turned to C4 Air for help.
A valued customer found themselves facing a costly line-stoppage if they could not source an immediate transport from Italy to the UK. Road transportation was not an option with congestion at the ports causing delays, so C4 Air stepped in to arrange for an immediate air charter. However, when the shipment arrived for loading it was significantly larger than described and would not fit on the plane! Undeterred, the team at C4 Air arranged for the shipment to be re-packaged onto smaller pallets to avoid any delay to the customer. The goods arrived in the UK ahead of schedule, preventing the line stoppage for the client.

Did you know that C4 Logistics are working in Hollywood?! You might not see us in the next Hollywood blockbuster but if you enjoy shopping, you will see stores who have benefited from our services.
C4 Air recently completed a transport for a new Hollywood store whose regular supplier were unable to provide their shop fittings in time for their grand opening. The retailer contacted C4 Air who immediately created a bespoke transport plan to ensure the Melrose Place boutique would receive all their goods as soon as possible. Providing a door-to-door service, the team at C4 Air organised collection of the goods and transport to Paris CDG airport. From there the journey continued with a flight to Los Angeles with onward shipment to Hollywood, arriving on Saturday morning in time for the store’s grand opening event.

C4 Logistics Hungary and C4 Logistics Poland are celebrating achieving ISO accreditation for a further 3yrs! ISO 9001-2015 is the internationally recognised standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS) within businesses.
Through an external audit, the processes at C4 Hungary and Poland were assessed against multiple industry standards. Operations staff were assessed for competency and adherence to risk management, service quality, carrier selection and monitoring. All quality management standards were found to be excellent and both offices were praised by the assessor for having “The best QMS he has seen in his career!”
