Job title: Special transport account manager

 

C4 Logistics is a worldwide time critical deliveries specialist. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and bespoke solutions for every logistical nightmare.

 

We are seeking an experienced individual from the time critical/freight forwarding/airfreight industry to join our team. The successful candidate will relish the challenge of solution provision in this fast moving environment.

 

Main Duties:

  • Quoting bespoke transport solutions by road and by air for our customers.
  • Organising transports, dispatching and coordinating contractors.
  • Monitoring transports, updating and reporting back to customers delivering a faultless customer service.
  • Developing and maintaining your own accounts.

 Specification:

  • Minimum experience of two years in freight forwarding - experience in buying, selling and organising transports (road and air).
  • Enthusiastic individual with good communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience in Air-chartering or airfreight would be preferable.
  • Multilingual would be an advantage.

   Remuneration:

  • From £26k-28k basic salary depending on experience.
  • On target commission earnings worth between £4000 & £7000 a year.
  • Health plan & access to private pension.
  • 22 days holidays plus statutory bank holidays.

 Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday - 9hrs per day ranging from 07.00 > 19.00 hrs.
  • On call duties at weekends (1 out of 4/5 weekends).
