At C4 we are celebrating the renewal of our Cyber Essentials accreditation, recognition that we maintain robust systems to protect from cyber-attack.
On the 15th of March we were visited by an independent Cyber Essentials assessor, who carried out an extensive audit into our cyber security processes. We are exceptionally pleased to have retained our Cyber Essentials certificate for a further consecutive year.
At C4, cyber security is taken extremely seriously. We are aware of the increasing incidences of cyber-attacks across all industries; 1 in 4 businesses were directly targeted in the last twelve months. We have made it our priority to be proactive in ensuring the protection of our business and our customers’ data.
Currently there are no legal requirements for freight companies to maintain any level of cyber security.
Sebastien Barth (C4 Group Managing Director,) explains why C4 Logistics chooses to be externally audited. “At C4 we recognise the importance of our clients’ data. Time-critical shipments are often sensitive so it is important to provide peace of mind that the information provided to us will remain secure. It is our duty of care to assess the competency of our cyber security systems on a regular basis. We are very confident in the level of protection we provide; the Cyber Essentials accreditation is a government-approved acknowledgement for the competency of our security systems.”
