Keeping passengers in the air
When a passenger aircraft could not take off from Beirut in September 2005 due to faulty landing gear the closest place that had a replacement part was Luton Airport. Within two hours of being contacted C4 had the replacement part loaded onto a flat bed trailer for transport to Luxembourg where it was passed on to our airfreight partners for onward delivery. By linking with our airfreight partner in Luxembourg the replacement part arrived safely in Beirut in the early hours of the following morning.
