Bad weather doesn’t stop C4
A valued customer requested their freight to be collected from Derbyshire at four o’clock in the afternoon for delivery to their customer in Slovenia the next day.
C4 Logistics sprung into action collecting the consignment from Derbyshire and air-chartering the freight to Vienna airport. However the weather was against us - during the course of the night the bad weather forced the flight to be diverted to Nuremberg airport. With a van waiting for the freight in Vienna we had to act quickly.
Our night shift immediately contacted several approved suppliers within Germany and subsequently arranged for a van to collect the goods and deliver the freight as the customer requested.
Delivery was made on time and the customer was kept informed every step of the way, live via C4 web-tracking and texting service.
