About C4 Logistics
The company was founded in Coventry in 2001 by Mathieu Schillinger, Oliver Gavrois and Sebastien Barth who had previously worked for Peugeot specialising in logistics for the car maker. Together with fellow directors Steve Chadwick and Frederic Cesarion they have nearly 60 years’ experience between them in the logistics industry, with a special focus on the automotive sector.
The directors established the business with the aim of offering service and reliability levels comparable with the best in the business but with a focus on a more personal approach emphasising customer satisfaction and regular client communications.
The company’s turnover exceeds £6 million and C4 Logistics' directly employ 42 people, including our own team of trained drivers and multi-lingual telephone operators on hand to handle all enquiries.
To keep up with continued growth, in 2007 the company opened new depots in Bristol and Ashford (Kent).
The Bristol depot allows C4 Logistics to deliver even higher levels of service to more customers, with additional storage and vehicle relay facilities.
Ashford gives efficient access to the Channel Tunnel and the London markets, enabling the carrying of consignments into Europe as fast as possible.
The company also has a European base in Lille, France. This mainland Europe presence means drivers can be swapped after EC driver maximums are reached, saving up to 10 hours on journey times.
C4 Logistics provides access to a network of more than 1,000 long-standing, reliable partners across Europe, including in destinations like Porto, Katowice, Torino and Copenhagen.
